OUR HOMES ON WHEELS

Different keys.
Same curiosity.

A bus. A van. Another chapter. The spaces changed as our life did.

2018–2020

Tío Aventura

Our first bus became our home after four months of building outside. We traded a house for 280 square feet and spent two years traveling in it.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Room for a whole day.

A one-day van swap in San Diego changed our perspective. Our Sprinter brought a living room, workspace, kitchen, wet bath, and bed into fourteen linear feet.

2023 / A NEW START

Life got bigger.

After three years in the van and becoming parents, we wanted more room and a slower pace. In July 2023, we bought a 2005 IC RE300 for the next chapter.

BEFORE THE PRETTY PICTURE

First, the work.
Then, the life.

Two homes we built and lived in. Here’s a little of what came before the photographs you usually see.

TÍO AVENTURA / OUR FIRST BUS

Four months.
A different kind of home.

In 2018, we bought a forty-foot school bus and built it outside, in the elements. Four months of work became a home we traveled in for two years. The finished photo is one part of that story. The work that got us there deserves a place, too.

OUR SPRINTER / A SMALLER FOOTPRINT

Before it was home,
it was a project.

After the bus, we brought our days into a smaller space: a living room, workspace, kitchen, full wet bath, and bed in fourteen linear feet. The Murphy bed became the defining decision. These photos hold two very different moments: building the space, and being at home in it.

Room for
the next chapter.

We bought our second bus in 2023 as our family and the way we wanted to travel were changing. These photographs follow the space from its stripped interior to the home taking shape inside.

THE WORK CONTINUES / NO COAST VAN CO.

Small space.
Look closer.

Explore three visible details inside Chevere V2. This is a No Coast build, distinct from our original Sprinter.

A bathroom inside.

The enclosed shower sits alongside the kitchen. Everyday routines are part of the floor plan.
